FAQ
What is AuraMaxx?
AuraMaxx is an onchain pack marketplace on Base. Creators launch simple-pack collections, collectors mint unopened packs, and pack holders can open them onchain to reveal the cards they pulled.
How do simple packs work?
A simple pack starts as one unopened pack NFT. During mint you buy unopened packs, not a guaranteed revealed card. After you own a pack, opening it turns that pack into the revealed card selected by the contract.
Creators define the card list and rarity lanes before launch. Once the collection starts, the registered configuration is what pack opens use.
How do rarities work?
Simple packs use rarity lanes such as Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic. The contract picks the rarity lane first, then picks one of the cards registered in that lane.
If a creator adds multiple cards inside the same rarity lane, that lane's odds are split across those cards.
What card size should I upload?
Use a 5:7 card aspect ratio. Clean larger versions work too, such as 500x700 or 1000x1400.
Keeping the same ratio helps art crop cleanly across pack, inventory, marketplace, and reveal surfaces.
Is the randomness onchain?
Yes. AuraMaxx simple-pack reveals derive randomness from Base chain state in the open transaction. There is no separate oracle callback or offchain reroll step.
How do prices work?
Primary mint pricing is quoted before you sign. Secondary buy, sell, and offer routes depend on current collection liquidity and market state.
Always review the exact quote and wallet transaction before confirming.
What is an allowlist?
An allowlist is a creator-uploaded list of wallet addresses for a limited mint phase. When it is enabled, only wallets on that list can mint from the reserved allowlist supply.
Creators can set the allowlist supply and per-wallet cap before launch.
How do creators earn?
Creators can earn from the simple-pack mint and marketplace fee flows configured for their collection.
Collection summaries track creator, referral, and protocol earnings separately where those lanes apply.
How do I sign in?
Sign in with a wallet on Base. AuraMaxx uses the connected wallet as the account identity.
Is this all really onchain?
Yes. Mints, opens, buys, sells, offers, and transfers are onchain actions. Once a transaction is signed and confirmed, it is final and AuraMaxx cannot reverse it for you.
That is why the app shows quotes, balances, and warnings before checkout. Read them carefully before you confirm.
